Marcus was hired at AUTO1 due to his tremendous value at Board level with regards to structuring the balance sheet, creating innovative financial products for the business, identifying and executing M&A opportunities and ultimately leading the business through a significant liquidity event whether that be an IPO or sale, having demonstrated a very strong track record of building and developing effective and successful teams at JP Morgan. Since Markus joined in 2016 at Series D, AUTO1 have gone on to raise a further $500m in funding.
